About Go2C

GO2C Changemakers Foundation (Go2C) is a Sec 8 social enterprise (not for profit) created by the joint efforts of government and key stakeholders from both corporate and social space. Go2C was created to connect the government directly with its citizens, empower them, make execution easier and create a collaborative environment for all stakeholders involved. GO2C stands for 'Government to Citizen Changemakers'.

Go2C was constituted with a vision for a comprehensive development of Kerala. However having seen and responded to various needs outside of this geography, Go2C has grown to support and bridge various gaps among a network of organisations pan India and globally, from the grassroots to initiatives at scale. Go2C thus measures its impact in the realisation of incremental-changes to larger system level impact among its partners.

Go2C also seeks to advise and help multiple reputed corporates and funding agencies maximize the return on their spending towards social causes.

Rajesh Unni

Capt. Unni is a Master Mariner with more than 25 years of experience in the shipping industry. He is a Class 1 Master Mariner from the LBS College of Advanced Maritime Studies & Research, Mumbai.Education being his enduring passion, he recently completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of Harvard Business School, Executive Education.He is the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer Global United Shipping (S) Pte. Ltd, a ship management company that provides technical, commercial and crew management of ocean-going vessels as well as maritime consultancy services.
Unni currently serves on the Members Board of the North P&I Club, a marine mutual liability insurer and has also recently founded AlphaOri Technologies, Passionate about social initiatives, he is actively involved with Ashoka Innovators for Public and directly monitors the CSR activities of his group of companies.

VISHNU SWAMINATHAN

Mr. Vishnu Swaminathan is presently the global representative for ashoka innovators for the public on planning, budgeting, and global partnerships. ashoka is a global association of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs—men and women with system-changing solutions for the world’s most urgent social problems. since 1981, ashoka has elected 3,000 social entrepreneurs as fellows—more than any other organization in the world—providing them with living stipends, professional support, and access to a global network of peers in more than 70 countries. mr. swaminathan envisions ashoka's efforts to create an "everyone a changemaker" world—one where each person has the skills, drive, and resources to push forward solutions to pressing social and environmental problems, and each organization works to maximize the changemaking potential of its members.
Vishnu earlier headed the housing for all program at ashoka in india is working on increasing the supply of affordable housing for low income communities in india on market based models. the program had reached 6 cities, catalysing around 10,000 homes in a short period of 2 years. He is also recognized as a global expert in the area of market driven approaches to create new markets for the base of the pyramid (bop) customers

Sanjeev Namath

Sanjeev is the CEO of Alpha Ori Technologies. He had a vast business and marine professional experience ranging 28+ years, from serving as Chief Engineer on Merchant Marine fleets to heading the New Projects and R&D team for the Synergy group. Sanjeev has undergone Postgraduate program from IIT Kharagpur in Marine Operations & Management and comes with diverse experiences in Conversions/construction of Ships. He is also engaged with his team in volunteering in social initiatives in Singapore, where he lives and works.

Lijo Chacko

Lijo is an engineer who retired from the Indian Navy as a Commander after two decades of service. He holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Business Management and Marine Engineering and is an alum of the Yale School of Management.
An avid outdoors person, his climb of the Mt. Everest has been published in Malayalam (a regional Indian language ). He has been in the developmental sector post his Naval career, especially with grassroots level NGOs and CSOs in India and Africa with organizations/individuals working in sectors ranging across water & sanitation, education, health, low cost housing, agriculture, visual disabilities and solar electricity for rural areas.

Jonbin Thomas

Johnbin is a dynamic, team oriented and self–motivated qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in the areas of accounts, finance, and tax laws. Apart from managing Go2C accounts Johnbin also help the foundation with legal and liasory support. Johnbin also manages finances at Synergy Oceanic, while having earlier worked with reputed firms such as Muthoot Fincorp.

G R Chintala

G R Chintala is Chairman of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), the apex development financial institution of India. He is also Chairman of NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) Ltd., NABVENTURE Ltd. and NABFOUNDATION. He is on the Board of prestigious institutions like Institute for Rural Management (IRMA) and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Among many of his achievements, the role played by Chintala in the sectors of social and economic empowerment of rural women through financial inclusion is very significant. Understanding the importance of last mile delivery of Institutional Credit, he has consistently pushed hard for incorporation and growth of financial inclusion and played a vital role in driving the world’s largest poverty alleviation cum women empowerment program through the SHG movement which comprises of 10 million groups and covers over 100 million members. He has also been on the Board of Agriculture Insurance Company, several RRBs/State Cooperative Banks across the country and NBFCs of Government of India.

His engagements are spread in about 20 countries like USA, China, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Indonesia and Bangladesh covering agriculture and rural development. With significant achievements in the space of rural finance and credit, he is committed to driving India’s economy for uplifting livelihoods of millions in the farming community and rural artisans.
